1. Fission :
it occurs in unicellular organisms like amoeba.
*in this process , the parent organism simply divides to form two or more new organisms of same species.
It is of two types . >binary fission-division of one cell into two similar or identical cells like amoeba
>multiple fission . In multiple fission many individuals are produced from a single organism.
2}. Fragmentation. Multicellular organisms with simple body organisation break up into two s more small fragments. There fragments later grow into new organism like spirogyra.
3}regeneration: many fully differentiated organisms have the ability to give rise to new individuals from their own body parts. If the organism breaks due to cut or tear, each piece grows into new organism 4}.Budding : in some organisms a bud develops as an outgrowth due to repeated cell divisions at one specific site . These buds develop into new individuals and detach from the parent body on maturation.example is hydra
