THE THIRD LEVEL CLASS XII

i hadn't got the story actually!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
these question r very tough to answer enugh........

1)Actually third level exists for people who wanted to get rid of life in 1950s. the 3rd level is a shadowy half world lying somewhere between dreams & reality. the hero, Charlie discovers a 3rd level which doesnt properly exists in his own time but is railways of the past leading away into earlier gentler time.

2) Sam's letter was present among the first day cover collection of his grandfather. it was never personally received by Charlie but it was written by Sam to Charlie. as Sam was in past he couldn't send the letter in name of of Charley as their was no such person in the past.ie, its a period in 1894 at that time Charlie is not even born so how can he write a letter to a person who is not born? so ,Sam sent the letter in the name of Charleys grandfather.

actually the third level was imaginary in reality it does not exit

Answer 1) The third may or may not exist but charley exists. That is why he writes a story similar to that of 'The Adventure' (catastrophic theory) in class XI. So, we can conclude that:

1) Either 3rd is just a figment in
Charley's imagination.

2) Or it exists.

Answer 2) Sam did not wrote any letter to Charley. Charley being slightly abnormal writes himself a letter and places it with the first day covers due to his utter madness.

why sam write letter to charlie?why he think of third level?
